"Bringing God's healing and freedom to hurting people worldwide."
May 2012

Spring is wonderful isn't it? New life, brilliant colors, and a freshness in the air. I do not think it is by coincidence that the Lord offers new life to the world every year. Let it be a reminder that He offers the same to us! New life, a fresh start... let's take hold of it. Blessings!
Too Little too Late...

Urgency.. it's hard to conjure up sitting in my cozy little home, listening to my son have a serious conversation with himself in words only he knows. Life is just so good. I have my Bible sitting on the table, a grocery list started and the money to buy them. I have friends and family, hobbies, hopes and dreams and the next 60 plus years to do them! Urgency... hard to conjure up in small town USA.

It was too little too late for approximately 4,500 children who died yesterday from dirty water.

It was too little too late for approximately 6,575 children who died yesterday from a preventable disease.

It was too little too late for hundreds of thousands of people who died yesterday without hearing about God or experienced a real relationship with Him.

It's hard to care when it's just on paper. But think about it. Step up to it. Do not brush it off so that you do not have to feel guilty for not doing anything... start fresh right now! Jesus Christ was proactive. He was on the go- feeding, healing, and teaching. He was urgent. We the Body of Christ MUST BE URGENT in the calling to impact this world in a huge way.

I do not often make a plea for money, but it is urgent. We have bellies waiting on us and a battle to fight for the kingdom. Stand with us. Fight with us. Urgently we ask you. Resources are limited but we know and trust God the Father to make a way.

These girls (members of TNT Orphange) praise the Lord through dance in a welcoming ceremony.

Pastor Jeff Stam spent much of his time teaching people about spiritual warfare and how to be a shining light in the darkness around. Many came to listen. He also did the commencement speech at Victory Bible College as well as spent sometime on the airwaves, taping for a local TV station. Many are hungry for God's truth! SFM is highly regarded in Myanmar, India, forming good relationships with those in government. Praise the Lord for the work being done there!

Ellie Vander Mey hard at work building the new home!
The Kenyan climate makes mud huts a good option for building a home on a budget.

Michael Kramer, Daniel Meisel, and Andrew Leach (from L to R)  are currently in Kenya finishing up a two month stay. They are using their mechanical skills to the fullest, proving to be a huge blessing for SFM E. Africa. Tractor repairs are extremely costly and detrimental to the orphan ministries. Not only do the children rely on the farming for food but also for income. Praise the Father for these young men offering their time and talent to serve His kingdom!

SFM Worldwide
The earth is the Lord's.. The world and those who dwell therein." Ps. 24

There is so much to say about the recent mission trips to India, Kenya, and Uganda! I am certain a 10 page play by play report could not even do it justice. You can imagine my predicament when given limited space to fit it all in. As the saying goes, pictures are worth a thousand words...

These young men are on fire for the Lord.. casting aside all "fear of appearances" to boldly sing praises to the Lord. They are inmates at the Central Jail in India. SFM India volunteers have made a LIFE-CHANGING impact in their lives and in the lives of many fellow inmates by spending time to tell of God's saving grace.

Lyvia and Isaac Benting (ages 8 & 10) proved that you are never too young or limited in resources to get involved! They made bracelets for the African children, found sponsors for each bracelet, and with the money gathered were able to pay for a new home to be built!

The very happy family standing in front of their new home with some of the mission crew!

So many children! These children are all under care of SFM. They are in need of food, clean water, and an education, but most importantly they need to be taught about God! Africa is full of mixed religions and beliefs. In fact, some of the students attending return home to parents who do not know about the "Jesus" who is taught at school. These children are witnessing to their communities!
